One of the hardest things to commit enough time to in a fast-growing business is training our new leaders how to be effective managers of people. Unfortunately, a lot of off-the-shelf leadership training talks about scary compliance, managerial tactics, leadership styles, and other fluffy stuff. Not exactly people science.
To help you fill the gaps, I’ve uploaded a slide deck that covers the five biggest principles of leadership. If we get the principles down and make sure our day-to-day decisions are in keeping with these principles, we’re 80% (or more) of the way to leadership excellence. It’s a good place to start.
Let me know if you have any questions about the content in the slide deck. I want this to be useful for you.
